BERLIN, Sept. 24 (Xinhua) -- The all-star cast of FC Bayern Munich on Sunday racked up four goals in a 4-1 away win against Karlsruher and retook the lead in the Bundesligal table. Bayern overwhelmed Karlsruher with 4-1 to knock Hertha back down to second after Berlin had taken the lead on Saturday. Italian international Luca Toni scored his fourth goal this season, while German striker Miroslav Klose, Hamit Altintop and second half sub Ze Roberto added another three for Bayern. Tamas Hajnal managed the only goal for KSC, consolating the 30,702 spectators in the sold-out Karlsruher Wildpark Stadium. Bayern coach Ottmar Hitzfeld changed up the line-up that had appeared in the UEFA Cup last Thursday. Altintop and Andreas Ottl played for Ze Roberto and Bastian Schweinsteiger in miidfield. Klose replaced Lukas Podolski on the offence. In another match on Sunday, Leverkusen made the most of opportunities in their win over Hannover 96 and earned three points to leap up in the table. Three days after their 3-1 win in the UEFA Cup against Uniao Leidia, Bayer Leverkusen mirrored their upward surge in the Bundesliga, sutting out Hannover 96 3-0. Bayer have not lost in four matches and are now ranked third in the table with ten points. Stefan Kiebling hit the back of the net in the 50th minute to make it 1-0 for Bayer. Arturo Vidal followed 2-0. Bundesliga scoring machine Theofanis Gekas added another score in the 74th minute with a penalty shot.
