BRUSSELS, Sept. 24 (Xinhua) -- Dutch soccer champions PSV Eindhoven set a new club record on Sunday by conceding no goal in the first five matches of the Dutch first division (Eredivisie) league, the club announced on Monday. PSV, which is currently in second place after archrival Ajax on level with points, set the previous record in the 2002/2003 Eredivisie season when they did not allow a single goal in the first four matches of the season. The defending champions whitewashed Feyenoord, another title contender, 4-0, at home on Sunday afternoon. In the five matches so far, PSV has scored 12 goals. The team will be in action next Saturday when they take on NAC in Breda, which is ranked 7th on the Eredivisie table.
