WARSAW, Dec. 5 (Xinhua) -- Oleg Blokhin's furture with the Ukrainian soccer national team will be decided on Thursday when the country's governing body of the sport meet to discuss his contract.
The Ukrainian soccer federation announced it on Tuesday that it will meet to decide whether to prolong Blokhin's deal.
Blokhin, increasingly frustrated with his team's performance which he once decried as "shameful," said at one point he would quit should Ukraine not qualify for Euro 2008. The side failed to qualify.
The coach has said previously that he has had many offers from clubs in Russia and Ukraine and local media have speculated that he may join FK Moscow or Dynamo Kiev.
