WASHINGTON, Dec. 6 (Xinhua) -- High-scoring Kevin Martin became the latest blow to the injury-hit Sacramento Kings with a pulled groin muscle expected to sideline the 24-year-old four to six weeks.

According to the NBA Team on Wednesday, Martin, who was averaging 24.5 points a game, sustained the injury during the third quarter of the King's 117-107 win over Utah Jazz on Tuesday.

Martin joined the injury pack of the Kings, which already missed starting point guard Mike Bibby with a thumb injury and forward Shareer Abdur-Rahim due to an ailing knee.

"Without Kevin, we definitely won't be as good," said Kings small forward Ron Artest. "But we've got to hang in there. We've got to play every possession like it's our last."
