Canadian Omischl wins men's aerials at freestyle World Cup

CHANGCHUN, Dec. 21 (Xinhua) -- Steve Omischl of Canada claimed the title of the men's aerials at the freestyle FIS World Cup here on Friday.

Omischl, the defending World Cup champion, notched 247.55 points in two jumps to clinch the first place in the opening event of the season, more than 10 points ahead of silver medal winner Anton Kushinir of Belarus.

Olympic champion Han Xiaopeng of China came in third with 236.11 points.
