Ronaldo arrives in Rio for treatment

BRASILIA, Dec. 21 (Xinhua) -- Due to an injured left calf, Milan forward Ronaldo arrived in Rio de Janeiro on Friday to meet with his personal doctor.

He was accompanied by the physiotherapist from the Milan team, Bruno Mazziotti. Additionally, the doctor of the Brazilian national soccer team, Jose Luiz Runco, will also be supervising the activities.

Ronaldo, who only played in one game this season, will take advantage of his visit home to enjoy the holiday break. He will stay with family and friends while in Brazil and is scheduled to return to Italy on January 13.

The jersey No. 99 for Milan has been criticized for constantly being injured. This is his second trip home to take care of injuries in less than four months.
