BRASILIA, Dec. 22 (Xinhua) -- Enthusiastic about the upcoming match, the Brazilian national indoor soccer team wrapped up on Saturday their technical and physical training in preparation to play against Argentina, their arch rivals.
The match will take place Sunday morning and will mark the end of the 2007 competitions.
Although the team has not played since the beginning of December, the team's goalie, Rogerio, claimed that he had not lost any of his physical condition.
The 34-year-old goalkeeper said, "In my case, I haven't played in one week. However, knowing that I will have to play, I kept up my own personal training."
Without fear of the Argentines, Rogerio believed that the Brazilian national indoor soccer team would have a great performance on Sunday.
"We don't want to waste our 100 percent productivity in the last game of the year. It is important to be retrospective because we know it can make the difference in the time of the invitation for the World Cup of Indoor Soccer," he said.
The World Cup of indoor soccer is due to kick off in 2008 in Brazil.
