Corinthians expects larger offer on Felipe by Flumenense

BRASILIA, Dec. 24 (Xinhua) -- The president of the Corinthians soccer club, Andres Sanchez, confirmed on Monday that he officially received the Felipe offer by Fluminense.

According to Sanchez, the offer from Fluminense is close to 1.5 million U.S. dollars plus the bonus.

"We are analyzing the proposal from Fluminense, but we maintain Felipe as our goalie. If he does not stay with us, we will have to do some thinking," claimed Sanchez.

Sanchez said that he and the club will not accept the offer of Fluminense. "We want more money," he added.

Felipe and his agent are still waiting for a legal document stating everything that had been discussed and offered in the meeting held last week between them and Corinthians. The 130% raise in the player's salary satisfied his aspirations, but he wants to see everything on paper.
