Sao Paulo's Souza accepts offer from Gremio

BRASILIA, Dec. 24 (Xinhua) -- Sao Paulo midfielder Souza said that he has received an official contract from Gremio on Monday.

Souza said the salary would be good at Gremio and he is now waiting to be released by Sao Paulo to go and play for Gremio.

"Making a deal with me was easy, but the hard part will be for Sao Paulo to accept the deal," he said.

Souza is expected to sign a three-year deal with Gremio with an estimated salary of 35,000 US dollars per month.

The transfer of Souza from Sao Paulo will only be certain after the holiday.
