Palmeiras beat Sao Paulo in national soccer league

BRASILIA, March 16 (Xinhua) -- Palmeiras extended their winning streak to four matches as they beat Sao Paulo 4-1 in the Sao Paulo soccer championships on Sunday.
Palmeiras are now in the second place with 28 points, only behind Guaratingueta with 31 points.
Three of Palmeiras' goals came from penalty kicks, while Sao Paulo are momentarily out of contention for the right to play in the semifinals.
