China calls up Zheng Zhi for qualifier

BEIJING, March 25 -- Charlton midfielder Zheng Zhi is among three European-based players named in China's 25-man squad to play Australia in a World Cup qualifier tomorrow.

Zheng, along with Manchester City defender Sun Jihai, and Shao Jiayi of German side Energie Cottbus, is expected to start the match in Kunming.

"I am very happy that they are all in good shape," China's head coach Ratomir Dujkovic told a Beijing newspaper.

"Shao and Zheng Zhi both played on the weekend, so they should be match-fit."

China has set a target of at least a draw with Australia, which was held goalless by Singapore on Saturday.
