Kenyans dominate at Prague Half Marathon again

PRAGUE, March 29 (Xinhua) -- The 10th Prague Half Marathon became an absolute triumph of Kenya, with Eliah Karanja being the quickest of them, clocking unofficially 1:02:08, the Czech news agency CTK reported on Saturday.

Kenyans have been ruling the Prague race since 2000. The only exception was the first edition of the marathon when Ali Ezayedi of Libya won.

Karanja remained 68 seconds behind last year's record of Patrick Ivuti.

Asha Gigi of Ethiopia won the women's event, clocking unofficially 1:12:00 hour.

The men's competition winner received 3,500 euros, the women's winner got 2,500 euros.
