Davydenko beats Tipsarevic to reach semis at Miami

WASHINGTON, April 3 (Xinhua) -- Russian Nikolay Davydenko advanced to the men's semifinals at the ATP Sony Ericsson Open on Thursday by beating Janko Tipsarevic 6-2, 6-1.
The world number four's opponent Friday will be the winner of the match Thursday night between No. 1 Roger Federer and No. 6 Andy Roddick.
The other semi-final will see Spaniard Rafael Nadal square off against Czech Tomas Berdych.
