BRASILIA, April 6 (Xinhua) -- Saldanha da Gama became the sixth team to qualify for the quarter-finals of the Brazilian men's basketball league after beating FTC/Salvador 92-46 on Sunday.
"It was a great game," said Enio Vecchi, head coach of Sladanha da Gama.
"We played an aggressive defense from the get-go and were able to defeat a good team. With our constant defense, our offense was able to flow and we were able to produce an important victory, taking us to the playoffs."
The other five teams qualified are Flamengo, Minas Tenis, Joinville, Uberlandia and Universo.
