Lebanon plans "Run for Peace" Marathon

BEIRUT, April 7 (Xinhua) -- The Beirut Marathon Organization is hosting the second straight Vivicitta "Run for Peace" race on May 25, local press reported on Monday.
The marathon will consist of a five-kilometer students' race and a 21-kilometer international half-marathon with downtown Beirut being the starting point, said the report.
The organization announced that May 16 was the last day for registration, it added.
