Douglas signs with Corinthians

BRASILIA, April 8 (Xinhua) -- After months of waiting, Corinthians on Tuesday presented to the press their newest member of the team -- defender Douglas.

The 26-year-old Douglas will wear the coveted jersey of 10 but he doesn't expect to be a team savior.

"I love pressure, but I want to make it clear that I don't plan to fix everything all by myself. Everyone knows that they have to fulfill their part, and I plan on doing mine," said the former Sao Caetano star.
