The Jiangsu women's team, who beat Liaoning 3-1 on Wednesday, came from 2-1 down to tame Bayi 25-13, 22-25, 16-25, 25-20 and 15-11.
"The fourth set was the turning point of the match," said Jiangsu head coach Xue Yongye. "I made some changes to the line-up which turned out to be effective."
