WASHINGTON, April 17 (Xinhua) -- Larry Krystkowiak came out the other NBA coach sacrifice after regular season as he was sacked by the Milwaukee Bucks on Thursday, a day after their disappointing regular season ended.
As his first full campaign in charge, Krystkowiak's regular season ended with the Bucks losing their last eight games of the season and having a 26-56 record overall.
"Larry Krystkowiak is a good man who worked very hard for the Milwaukee Bucks," said team general manager John Hammond.
"Sometimes despite even the best efforts, the results don't end up how we want them. At this time, I feel it is in the best interest of our franchise to make a change at the head coaching position," he added in a statement.
Krystkowiak took in charge in March, 2007, replacing Terry Stotts, and had a 31-69 record during his time in Milwaukee.
