BEIJING, April (Xinhua) -- France, ranked second in the men's foil team category, lost to Poland 43-45 at the quarterfinals of the FIE 2008 World Championships.
The French team, which was expected to claim its fourth consecutive gold at this event, failed to make it through to the semifinals.
