BRASILIA, April 25 (Xinhua) -- The Corinthians soccer team, from the state of Sao Paulo, announced on Friday that their midfielder, Heverton, would be loaned out to the team from Bahia, Vitoria. The player will go to Bahia to compete in the Brasileiro championship.
The player arrived at Corinthians in 2007. Heverton came to the club after having been traded from the team of Ponte Preta. Heverton will remain with Corinthians to play in the game against Goias next Wednesday in Morumbi stadium, Sao Paulo.
"Heverton wants to play. However, there hasn't been any room on the team for him to play as much as he would like. For this reason, we have decided to loan him to Vitoria. We will keep him with us until next week so he can play in the game against Goias," said the technical director of Corinthians, Antonio Carlos.
