BUENOS AIRES, April 25 (Xinhua) -- Brazil will meet Venezuela and Argentina face Uruguay on Saturday in the semifinals of the South America Elimination granting three passes for France's Beach Soccer World Cup.
Argentina defeated Chile by a 6-5 score at Obras Sanitarias stadium in Buenos Aires, Argentina's capital, in an exciting encounter, where the host came from 2-4 behind and managed last-minute tie in the third stage.
Argentina finally won 6-5, which gave them the first place of Group A.
Earlier on Friday, Uruguay also passed to the semifinals after defeating Paraguay by a 5-4 score.
Meanwhile, Venezuela defeated Peru by a 7-5 score, and passed thanks to the defeat suffered by Chile.
Venezuela will now have to play against this tournament's favorite, Brazil.
The Beach Soccer France World Cup will be played in that European country on July with the participation of 16 national teams.
