Sun and Peng lose doubles in Fed Cup semifinals

BEIJING, April 27 (Xinhua) -- Host pair Sun Tiantian and Peng Shuai lost to Spainish pair Vives and Sanchez to finish China's first Fed Cup semifinal 1-4 here on Sunday.

Before today's match, Spain led 2-0 after Nuria Llagostera Vives and Carla Suarez-Navarro each seized a win in singles on Saturday.

Sun and Peng only won 33 total points while their opponents won56. The also made 22 unforced errors.

Earlier in a singles rubber, Navarro defeated Peng Shuai to ensure that Spain would show in the Fed Cup final.
