KATHMANDU, April 25 (Xinhua) -- Nepal will hold a Beijing Olympics 2008 100 days countdown ceremony on April 30 in capital Kathmandu.
According to a press release issued by the organizers, thousands of people including sports persons and students will gather at the Dashratha Stadium in the capital at 7:00 am (0115 GMT), and a march past will be held.
Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala will inaugurate the program.
The program will release balloons by chief guest, and some cultural and sports demonstrations will be given during the program.
Organized by the National Sports Council and Nepal Olympic Committee, the ceremony will last for one day and will be the biggest program held in Nepal for the Beijing 2008 Olympics.
