BEIJING, Aug. 14 (Xinhua) -- China's judoka Yang Xiuli claimed the women's 78kg title at the Beijing Olympics here on Thursday, edging Yalennis Castillo from Cuba in the breath-taking final.

The bronze medals went to Jeong Gyeong-mi from South Korea and Stephanie Possamai from France.
