BEIJING, Aug. 15 (Xinhua) -- Ethiopian Tirunesh Dibaba clocked an Olympic record of 29:54.68 to win the women's 10,000m gold medal at the Olympic Games here on Friday.

Ethiopian-born Turkey runner Elvan Abeylegesse took the silver in 29:56.34. Shalana Flanagan of the United States won the bronze in 30:22.22.
