BEIJING, Aug. 20 (Xinhua) -- Lithuanian sharp shooters buried 13 three-pointers to beat China 94-68 on Wednesday, setting up a semifinal clash with Spain at the men's basketball competitions.
Sarunas Jasikevicius shot 5-out-of-6 from behind the arc to lead Luthuania with 23 points and six assists. The Lithuanians were 13-out-of-31 on 3-pointers.
China were only 4-out-of-21 on the other end of the court with Yao Ming leading with 19 points and seven rebounds.
Lithuania used a 14-5 run at the start of the fourth quarter to extend lead to 84-58 with just over five minutes left on the clock.
China finished eighth after the loss with a record of 2-4 in the tournament.
