BEIJING, Aug. 22 (Xinhua) -- Vajda Attila Sandor from Hungary claimed the men's canoe single (C1) 1,000m title in three minutes and 50.467 seconds at the Beijing Olympics on Friday.

David Cal from Spain took the silver in 3:52.751, and Thomas Hall from Canada got the bronze in 3:53.653.
