Chilean President pleased with Dakar Rally organization

SANTIAGO, Jan. 18 (Xinhua) -- Chilean President Michelle Bachelet expressed her satisfaction on Sunday for the organization of the Dakar Rally 2009 Argentina-Chile.

In an interview with a local radio, Bachelet said that the Chilean part of the rally showed the country's ability to host the most complicated contests.

"We showed our best face and we should feel proud," Bachelet said.
