MADRID, March 1 (Xinhua) -- Spanish soccer club Atletico de Madrid Sunday came back from two goals down to beat Barcelona 4-3 in a spectacular match in "Vicente Calderon" stadium.

Thierry Henry opened scoring for Barcelona on 18 minutes before Argentine playmaker Lionel Messi made it 2-0 on the half hour mark.

Diego Forlan pulled one back for the hosts two minutes later and converted a penalty on 80 minutes.

Sergio Aguero added two to secure the win in the 56th and 89th minute.

Real Madrid's 2-0 win at Espanyol on Saturday, their 10th straight victory, had upped the pressure on Barca, and Pep Guardiola's side have now taken only one point from their last three matches.

With 25 matches played, Barca have 60 points to Real's 56, while Sevilla, who had two stylish Frederic Kanoute goals to thank for Saturday's 2-1 comeback win over Athletic Bilbao, are in third on 47.
