PARIS, June 3 (Xinhua) -- Teenager Sorana Cirstea bowed out of the French Open on Wednesday after a 6-1, 6-3 defeat to 30th-seeded Samantha Stosur in the quarterfinals.
Australian Stosur, playing her first-ever Grand Slam quarterfinal, held her nerves to put down a late fightback from the Romanian dark horse before advancing to the semifinals.
Cirstea, 19, was playing at Roland Garros for just the second time.
