BERLIN, Aug. 23 (Xinhua) -- Olympic and world 400 meters champion LaShawn Merritt anchored the 4x400m relay win for the United States at the World Athletics Championships here on Sunday.
The U.S. team won its 10th gold medal and the last of the championships in 2:57.86. Britain was second in 3:00.53 and Australia finished third in 3:00.90.
