Chinese Runners win men's, women's 100m titles at EAG

HONG KONG, Dec. 12 (Xinhua) -- Chinese runners won both the men's and women's 100m titles at the East Asian Games here on Saturday.

Su Bingtian claimed the men's gold with a time of 10.33 seconds, followed by Shintaro Kimura of Japan in the second place at 10.39.The bronze medal was taken by Yi Wei-Chen of Chinese Taipei at 10.45.

In the women's final, Tao Yujia beat two Japanese runners to the second and third places with a winning time of 11.70 seconds. Mayumi Watanabe was second at 11.83 and Maki Wada finished third at 12.06.
