KUALA LUMPUR, May 16 (Xinhua) -- China swept Indonesia 3-0 to win the Thomas Cup men's team badminton championship for the fourth straight time here on Sunday.
Lin Dan of China won the opener against Taufik Hidayat of Indonesia, 21-7 and 21-14 in 44 minutes, before Cai Yun and Fu Haifeng downed their Indonesian peers Markis Kido and Hendra Setiawan 25-23, 16-21, 21-12 in the men's doubles in 59 minutes.
In the men's second singles, Chen Jin rallied from one set down to beat Simon Santoso 19-21, 21-17 and 21-7 in one hour and 13 minutes to complete the sweep.
