PARIS, June 3 (Xinhua) -- Australian seventh seed Samantha Stosur smashed the fourth seed Jelena Jankovic from Serbia 6-1, 6-2 on Thursday, advancing into the women's singles final at the French Open.
Stosur is going to play Francesca Schiavone in the final as the Italian easily took the victory of the other semifinal due to the retirement of her opponent Elena Dementieva after the first set.
