WASHINGTON, Feb. 10 (Xinhua) -- Patrick Chan of Canada won the men's singles title at figure skating's Four Continents Championship on Friday at the Colorado Springs, the United States.
The 2011 world champion winner, who led after the short program, marked 185.99 points for the free skate to take the title with a total of 273.94 points.
Defending champion Daisuke Takahashi of Japan, the 2010 Vancouver Olympics bronze medallist, earned 161.74 points and moved up from third after the short program to take silver with 244.33 points.
American Ross Miner was third with a total of 223.23 points.
China's Guan Jinlin finished 10th with a total of 196.53, while Song Nan placed 11th at 190.51.
