Rosberg takes maiden victory at 2012 F1 China GP

SHANGHAI, April 15 (Xinhua) -- Nico Rosberg of Mercedes took the first victory in his F1 career after claiming the title at the 2012 Chinese Grand Prix here on Sunday.

Starting from the pole position, the 27-year-old German clocked one hour 36 minutes 26.929 seconds to first finish the 56-lap race.

It was also the first victory for Mercedes after the team bought out Brawn GP to compete in F1 since 2010.
