Britain wins women's lightweight double sculls Olympic gold

LONDON, Aug. 4 (Xinhua) -- Britain won the women's lightweight double sculls rowing gold medal at the Olympic Games on Saturday.

Katherine Copeland and Sophie Hosking clocked in 7:09.30 for the gold, while China's Xu Dongxiang and Huang Wenyi took the silver in 7:11.93, beaeting Greece's Christina Giazitzidou and Alexandra Tsiavou to third in 7:12.09.
