ZHUJI, China, Oct. 24 (Xinhua) -- The Zhejiang Golden Bulls bagged their fourth straight win in the 2020-21 Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) season after a 116-106 victory over the Sichuan Blue Whales here on Saturday.

Power forward Liu Zeyi came off the bench to score a game-high 28 points and 12 rebounds, while fellow substitute Lin Xiaotian also contributed 26 points and seven assists. Center Yuan made a team-high 18 points for Sichuan.

Golden Bulls captain Wu Qian was rested for this match, with 21-year-old rising star Cheng Shuaipeng in the starting lineup for the first time this season. Guard Lu Wenbo from Zhejiang made all three attempts in the first quarter, including two three-pointers to help the Golden Bulls lead 35-27 going into the second quarter.

Liu and Lin came off the bench and combined to score 14 points in the second quarter, giving the Golden Bulls a 59-48 lead at the half-time break.

The Golden Bulls had the game's biggest advantage of 77-53, before the Blue Whales answered with a 22-15 run to cut the deficit to 17 points in the third quarter.
