ZHUJI, China, Oct. 25 (Xinhua) -- Sun Minghui scored a double-double with 27 points and 10 assists to help the Zhejiang Lions beat the Shenzhen Aviators 99-88 in the fourth round of the 2020-21 Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) league here on Sunday.

New Lions signing Miroslav Radulica contributed 24 points, while center Hu Jinqiu also had a double-double with 18 points and 13 rebounds. Forward Gu Quan scored a team-high 15 points for Shenzhen.

Radulica scored eight points in the first quarter to give Zhejiang a 27-17 lead.

Sun was unstoppable in the second quarter. The Chinese national team guard scored six of seven attempts, helping the Lions obtain a 47-41 advantage by the half-time break.

Radulica displayed his offensive dominance in the third quarter. The Serbian center scored 16 points in the quarter to help the Lions lead 73-65 into the last period.

Zhejiang didn't give Shenzhen any opportunity to cut the deficit in the fourth quarter and easily maintained their advantage to the end.

"We had a good start in the match, but our team didn't play well in the second quarter. Our rivals grabbed more rebounds than us," Zhejiang Lions head coach Li Chunjiang said.

It was a perfect match for Radulica who made his Lions debut as he notched up 24 points in less than 21 minutes. "He played in the CBA for more than four years. We have been training together for days since he completed a quarantine. That's the reason why he integrated himself well," Li added. Enditem
