ZHUJI, China, Nov. 11 (Xinhua) -- The Shenzhen Aviators breezed past the Fujian Sturgeons 115-94 in the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) here on Wednesday.
Shenzhen opened the scoring but Fujian quickly took the lead. Kamiran Sdkjan and Chen Linjian scored on back-to-back attempts from beyond the arc and Wang Zhelin erupted to guide their team on a 10-1 run for a 31-20 lead by the end of the first quarter.
Shenzhen fought back and narrowed the gap to one in the second quarter.
The third quarter witnessed a seesaw battle between the two teams. Chen and Wang set a pick-and-roll to give their side a good start. Guard Yang Linyi contributed 11 points and 3 assists in 12 minutes for Shenzhen.
Trailing by 82-80 in a productive last quarter, Lu Yiwen and Askia Booker led their team to a 14-0 spurt and dominated the court to seal the victory.
Chen had a game-high 31 points and seven assists for Fujian. Booker collected 25 points and captain Gu Quan added 17 points for Shenzhen. Enditem
