YAOUNDE, Feb. 2 (Xinhua) -- Hosts Cameroon on Tuesday vowed to beat Morocco in the semifinal on Wednesday and subsequently win the African Nations Championship (CHAN).

The Indomitable Lions have been training in Cameroon's southwestern seaside resort town of Limbe.

"We are here to win and get to the finals by making life uncomfortable for our adversaries. We are serene. It's up to us to go to the finals," Cameroon coach Martin Mpile told a press conference in Limbe.

It is the first time for Cameroon to appear in the semifinal of the tournament.

Mpile said that defending champions Morocco, who Cameroon are facing for the first time in the competition, are worthy opponents.

"It will be a good game and we are determined to go through," he added.

Morocco coach Houcine Ammouta said that his team is focused on the upcoming game and every player is showing more enthusiasm.

"I know it will be a tough game because we are playing against the hosts who also have a good team," Ammouta said.

Cameroon and Morocco will play at the Limbe Omnisport Stadium on Wednesday evening. Mali will take on Guinea at the Japoma Stadium in Douala on Wednesday afternoon in the other semifinal. Enditem
