BUENOS AIRES, March 6 (Xinhua) -- Argentine top seed Diego Schwartzman advanced to the Argentina Open final on Saturday with a straight-sets win over Serbian Miomir Kecmanovic.

Schwartzman, 28, won 78% of his first-serve points to prevail 6-0, 6-4 in one hour and 22 minutes on the outdoor clay of the Buenos Aires Lawn Tennis Club.

The world No. 9 will meet compatriot Francisco Cerundolo in Sunday's final of the ATP 250 event.

Earlier on Saturday, 159th-ranked Cerundolo booked a place in his first ATP tour decider by overcoming Spaniard Albert Ramos Vinolas 7-6(5), 3-6, 6-2 in two hours and 35 minutes.

Cerundolo is the first qualifier to reach the final in Buenos Aires since Jose Acasuso in 2001.

Schwartzman, a losing finalist to Italian Marco Cecchinato at the 2019 Argentina Open, is vying for his fourth career title. Enditem
