MEXICO CITY, April 4 (Xinhua) -- Argentine striker Juan Dinenno converted a 94th-minute penalty to earn Pumas UNAM an unlikely 2-2 home draw with Pachuca in Mexico's Liga MX on Sunday.

Victor Sosa put the visitors ahead with a curling 30-yard drive just after the half-hour mark and Erick Sanchez rifled in a low shot to make it 2-0 in the 76th minute.

The hosts reduced the deficit in the 90th minute when Sebastian Saucedo latched onto a Carlos Gutierrez cross and sent an angled header past the outstretched arms of goalkeeper Oscar Ustari.

Dinenno then sent Ustari the wrong way from the penalty spot after Juan Vigon was brought down by Efrain Orona.

The result left Pachuca 10th in the 18-team Liga MX Clausura standings with 14 points from 13 matches, a point ahead of 13th-placed Pumas.

Earlier on Sunday Jesus Angulo canceled out an early Jesus Ocejo strike as Chivas earned a 1-1 home draw with Santos Laguna. Enditem
