BRATISLAVA, April 5 (Xinhua) -- In the Championship Group of the Slovak football premiership postseason, Slovan Bratislava inches ever closer to securing the championship title after defeating Zlate Moravce 4-1 over the weekend.
In the final moments of the first half, Zlate Moravce scored the opener but only moments after returning to the pitch after the break, the home team started unleashing its full potential.
Rafael Ratao scored the equalizer only two minutes in, followed by Moroccan striker Moha's brace later in the game. Substitute Alen Ozbolt set the final score to 4-1 for Bratislava two minutes before the end of regulation.
Elsewhere, the fixture between Zilina and Dunajska Streda turned into a shooting fest with all six goals of the 3-3 draw being scored in the first half. Both Zilina striker David Duris and visiting striker Eric Ramirez scored twice.
Spartak Trnava's second victory puts it very close to Zilina in the standings and the next Fortuna Liga round could bring a switch in positions. Trnava decided the outcome in the 76th minute when one of the home team's players conceded a penalty, which was converted by North Macedonia midfielder Milan Ristovski.
The Relegation Group of the postseason remains extremely evenly matched with four of the six teams on 26 points in the standings.
SKF Sered moved to the top after a 2-1 win in FK Pohronie, pushing its opponent to the second spot. Nitra managed to gain two spots and shift to fourth place after a historic triumph over Ruzomberok, winning 1-0 after 7 years of unsuccessful attempts.
