BRATISLAVA, April 6 (Xinhua) -- The winner of Tipos Extraliga regular season HKM Zvolen is only one victory away from advancing to the playoff semifinals in the Slovak ice-hockey premiership after defeating HC Mikron Nove Zamky 4-2 on Tuesday.

After winning both home games, HKM Zvolen outscored HC Mikron Nove Zamky in its first away game of the series. The home team managed to answer Zvolen's opener in the second period but the visitors scored three more in the same period (it could have been four if Mikko Nuutinen had converted on his penalty shot) to build a comfortable 4-1 lead.

Patrik Rogon's second powerplay goal of the night for Nove Zamky late in the game cut the deficit to 4-2 but that was it from the home side despite pulling the goalie in the final moments.

On Trencin's ice, Michalovce veteran forward Antti Erkinjutti from Finland became the hero of the day by scoring the opener in the first period and also the game-winner in the third as the home team only managed to put one puck behind the visiting goalie Tomas Tomek who finished the game with 31 saves. Michalovce won 2-1 and has taken the lead in the series again, 2-1. Enditem
