RIO DE JANEIRO, July 17 (Xinhua) -- Former Brazil international forward Hulk scored a second-half brace as Atletico Mineiro came from behind to win 2-1 at Corinthians in Brazil's Serie A championship on Saturday.

Gustavo Silva gave the hosts an early lead by running onto a Victor Cantillo pass, cutting inside his marker and rifling a left-footed shot past goalkeeper Everson.

The visitors equalized when Hulk's 25-yard free kick ricocheted in off the left post. The former Porto, Zenit Saint Petersburg and Shanghai Port FC player then combined with Dylan Borrero before lashing a first-time shot into the far corner.

The result left Corinthians on 25 points, behind leaders Palmeiras on goal difference. Corinthians dropped to 12th in the 20-team standings, 11 points off the pace.

Elsewhere on Saturday, Ceara clinched a 1-0 home win over Paranaense, Fortaleza won 1-0 at Sao Paulo and Gremio beat Fluminense 1-0 at the Maracana Stadium. Enditem
