QUITO, Sept. 29 (Xinhua) -- Bruno Henrique scored either side of halftime as Brazil's Flamengo advanced to the Copa Libertadores final on Wednesday with a 2-0 win away to Ecuadorian side Barcelona SC.

The result handed Flamengo a 4-0 victory on aggregate and set up an all-Brazilian final against defending champions Palmeiras in Uruguayan capital Montevideo on November 27.

Flamengo took the lead on the night when Everton Ribeiro's defense-splitting pass released Henrique, who coolly rounded goalkeeper Javier Burrai before rolling the ball into an empty net.

The Brazil internationals combined again to make it 2-0, with Henrique slotting home a first-time finish at the far post after Ribeiro's perfectly weighted cross from the right flank.

Both Palmeiras and Flamengo, the last two Copa Libertadores champions, are aiming to win South America's premier club competition for a third time. In addition to their 2020 triumph, Palmeiras were victorious in 1999 while Flamengo lifted the trophy in 1981 and 2019.

Palmeiras secured a place in the final courtesy of a 1-1 draw at Atletico Mineiro in the second leg of their semifinal on Tuesday. The result meant the Sao Paulo side progressed on the away goals rule after the teams drew 0-0 in the first leg. Enditem
