BEIJING, Feb. 28-- American snowkiters fill the sky with sails, Sunday, above the frozen surface of Lake Champlain near Milton, Vermont. The event, called Kitestorm 2006, consisted of a congregation of about 100 snowkiting enthusiasts who were pulled by sails along the ice while wearing snowboards or skis. The weekend-long gathering included instruction, contests and equipment demos for snowkiters of all abilities from all over the country.
