BEIJING, Dec. 15 -- Yao Ming paces the Western Conference and LaBron James leads the Eastern Conference in voting for the 2007 NBA All-Star game.

Yao, the Houston Rockets center, has been named on 836,392 ballots to lead all vote getters, some 116,000 ahead of Los Angeles Lakers' Kobe Bryant. Yao's teammate Tracy McGrady is second behind Bryant among Western Conference guards with 668,130 votes.

The race for votes among conference forwards finds Minnesota's Kevin Garnett (453,536) leading with San Antonio's Tim Duncan next at 423,228.

James, a forward for Cleveland, has amassed 808,570 votes and has more than 500,000 more votes than second-place Chris Bosh, from Toronto.

Players out of the lineup lead at Eastern Conference guard and center.

Philadelphia's Allen Iverson, who has been inactive for several games, is first among the guards with 595,200 votes, some 9,000 ahead of Miami's Dwayne Wade. Miami's Shaquille O'Neal, sidelined with a knee injury, paces the centers with 522,815 votes.

Voting continues through Jan. 21. The NBA All-Star game is set for Feb. 18 in Las Vegas.
