CHIANG MAI, Thailand, Sept. 26 (Xinhua) -- Mu Shuangshuang of China broke the world record for the total lifted in the women's over 75kg category in the world weightlifting championships here on Wednesday.

Mu lifted 139kg in snatch and jerked 180kg to surpass the previous world mark 318kg.
